Starring Maev Beaty & Cyrus Lane
Stage Manager: Sarah Miller

Condemned and exiled, Jesuit Pierre Teilhard de Chardin crossed continents searching for the missing link. His groundbreaking discoveries in human evolution transcended barriers between Faith and Science.

The De Chardin Project is about Jesuit priest, scientist and philosopher Pierre Teilhard de Chardin (1881-1955). De Chardin, suffering a cerebral hemorrhage finds himself beyond the phenomenal world in an encounter with an enigmatic guide who leads him on the ultimate adventure: the excavation of himself.

The universe as we know it is a joint product of the observer and the observed.” – Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

coming next summer....

Maev Beaty to play Kate in The Last Wife
In her Stratford debut this season, Maev Beaty fast won a place as a leading player with her highly lauded portrayal of Goneril in King Lear and a striking performance as Hippolyta in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. She will return for her second season in 2015 to play Katherine Parr, the last wife of Henry VIII, in the world première of Kate Hennig’s startlingly contemporary new play. Sara Farb will play Mary, with Joseph Ziegler as Henry.

So incredibly proud of our Passion Play ensemble - the over 50 artists who came together to make last June's production so splendid. Last week we won a Dora Award to commemorate it!

Coming Fall 2014 to Theatre Passe Muraille
Directed by Alan Dilworth
Starring Cyrus Lane, and me.

Wednesday, April 30, 2014

Five days from now, on the afternoon of May 5, I will perform for the first time on the Festival Stage in the Stratford Festival of Canada's 2014 Season.
The play is King Lear, and the part is Goneril.

And here I am in the picture below, fifth from the left in the back row,  21 years ago, in front of that Festival Stage.

As Vonnegut would urge me to say: "If this isn't nice, I don't know what is".
